Found on the grounds of Elvetham Hotel, a former country house with a croquet lawn, this period cottage marries pleasant touches with an unusual layout. The social areas all receive plenty of light, the living room moving through the kitchen and dining area to the outdoor utility are. While the two upstairs bedrooms offer king-size beds and feel inviting, the annex bedroom has proven an issue for some guests, starting with the sofa bed that's on the smaller side. You'll not only have access to the pleasant green lawn and its seating area, but the hot tub as well, while the hotel's larger gardens can also be accessed. For day trippers, Swinley Forest is thirty minutes away by car.
