Tucked away on a pedestrian lane dating back to the Saxon times, this cottage is as charming as it looks. The back patio is a sweet spot for sundowners, even if it's a tad overlooked. There's also a cosy living area, a well-appointed kitchen, and two bedrooms – just note that the second is snug and best for little ones. Location-wise, you couldn't ask for better. Lyme Regis' town centre is a short walk away, where you'll find a bevvy of pubs, shops, and restaurants. The beach is less than a ten-minute stroll away, too – perfect for families and four-legged friends.

Home truths
The second bedroom is very snug. The bed isn't accessible from the sides, so you'll have to climb in from the bottom. We think it's best for children.
This cottage is located on a traffic-free lane accessible only to pedestrians. You can unload at the top of Broad Street, but you'll have to park in the nearby Woodmead Halls long-stay car park on Hill Road. Your host provides a parking permit, but space is subject to availability.
A shared path runs alongside the cottage, leading to the small house in the back. It overlooks the patio.
As the staircase is only guarded by a single rail and the steps are steep, this home may not be suitable for small children or those with limited mobility.
