Sleeping inside a palace dating back to 1860 is a fairly compelling way to spend your time in Málaga. This studio sits within a restored Andalusian palace built around a sunny, shared courtyard – a great place to relax with drinks if you don't fancy venturing out in the evening. There's also a small kitchenette for making quick breakfasts at home – trust us, you'll want as much time as possible to explore. Málaga Cathedral, and the Picasso Museum are within easy walking distance, and the Costa del Sol beaches are just moments beyond the city's edge, offering a combination of historic atmosphere and city convenience.

Home truths
This home doesn't accept groups of young people up to 18 years old.
There's limited counter space in the kitchen – we think it's better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
The apartment is on a upper floor of a palace shared with thirteen other apartments, so you may hear some noise from neighbouring units or the central courtyard. It's part of the building's character, but worth bearing in mind if you're a light sleeper.
Your host can arrange a parking space on request – but Málaga's historic centre is walkable.
Weekly linen and towel changes are included at this home.

Málaga's Roman Theatre is one of the remaining symbols of Roman Hispania – a tourist attraction by day, it returns to its original use, hosting concerts and theatre on balmy summer nights after dark.
