If you want to be close to Lucca’s historic walls, this apartment in San Concordio is hard to beat. The Gate of San Pietro is just a stroll away, while a cafe, shop, and takeaway pizza place are right outside. Inside, the open-plan living and dining space has high ceilings and stairs that lead up to a mezzanine level. Outside, there’s a terrace with space to eat and lounge. It’s a bit overlooked by the building opposite, but the location more than makes up for it. With the train station a ten-minute walk away, it’s an easy base for exploring Lucca and beyond.
