Nestled in the Castellana neighbourhood in Madrid, this home is an ideal base for up to four people on a city stay. Granted, as a group of four, two people will sleep on the sofa bed in the living room, and the bedroom is quite cosy – that said, it has everything needed for a comfortable night’s sleep. Locally, soak up the sights with visits to the Torre Picasso, Parque de Berlín, and the Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales. Keen to explore further afield? The nearby metro makes hopping across the city a breeze.

Home truths
At full occupancy, two guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area.
There are no windows in the bedroom, though there are glass doors, so it lacks a little natural light. It's also quite cosy, with limited storage space.
Since the photoshoot, there may be minor differences in furnishings seen in the photos and what you find in the apartment, as part of the host's home upkeep.
Parking in Madrid can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible.

Local guide
About Salamanca
Salamanca is Madrid’s most glamorous and prestigious quarter. Usually associated with aristocratic façades, wide avenues, and luxurious living (atypical for Madrid’s cosy centre), the neighbourhood attracts domestic and international elite. It’s also home to many embassies and private schools, as well as niche museums and designer boutiques along its ‘Golden Mile’. The demanding clientele has made the food scene equally exclusive, but while you’re likely to find quite a few Michelin-star restaurants in the area, there are lots of relaxed tapas bars for those less willing to splash the cash.
