You’ll find this cottage in the most historic part of picturesque Burford. Grade II listed and dating back to the 1500s, this home blends old-world charm and modern comforts. The classic country cottage garden is a wonderful spot for a barbecue – you can see neighbours coming and going thanks to its higgledy piggledy nature. The church bells ring every hour. The bells are also rung on Sunday mornings, Tuesday evenings, and when there is a wedding.
This home is spread over three floors with two flights of narrow and steep stairs. There are also a number of internal steps. It may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.
Your host provides logs for the first fire in the wood burner for stays between 1st October and 31st March.
