The private garden has direct access to the parks – simply pad outside and be picnicking in no time. Bus stops and St John's Wood Underground are also within easy reach, keeping you well-connected to the capital. Back home, you'll find two living areas, a modern kitchen, and two comfortable bedrooms. There's more than enough space to stretch out, even with two guests sleeping on sofa beds. With all the amenities and extras you'll need, we think it ticks the boxes for a care-free London stay.

• It may be possible to accommodate two additional guests on sofa beds in the living area, bringing the total guest count up to eight people. This will cost £50 per person per night. Speak to your host to arrange before booking.

• Limited metered, on-street parking spaces are available in the area, though you can also pay to park at the nearby public car parks. That said, we don't think a car is necessary here as you can easily explore via public transport.
