Convenient and chic? No wonder this apartment captured our hearts. We're swooning over the classic details, from ornate crown moulding to floor-to-ceiling French windows. A small Juliet balcony overlooks the bustling street outside, and the view of the Haussmannian buildings is distinctly Parisian. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, so it's ideal for pairs – though the main suite is the stand-out, with its dressing room and soaker bath. Location-wise, upscale Madeleine is the place to be if you enjoy the finer things in life. Wine bars, gourmet restaurants, and designer shops are within walking distance, as is a metro station for adventures further afield.

While the second bedroom makes for a great night's sleep, the bed does feel a little big for the room.
