Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Once home to bakers and servants working in nearby Arundel Castle, this colourful cottage is packed full of character. Located in Arundel town centre, you’ll be able to stroll to all the must-sees, including the castle, the cathedral, and the River Arun. The home itself boasts eclectic decor and a private garden – ideal for stargazing on a clear night as you’re near a Dark Sky Reserve. The sleeping arrangements here won’t suit everyone – the second bedroom is in a separate cabin accessed via the garden – and the home isn’t suitable for children aged 2-12. We think this place is a good choice for a two couples, or a family with teens, wanting a unique stay in a central spot.

Home truths
While babies and teenagers are welcome, this home isn't suitable for children aged 2-12.
The second bedroom and the separate toilet are located in a separate cabin, accessed via the garden after crossing a narrow pathway. The bed takes up most of the cabin so space is limited.
The stairs leading up to the main bedroom are narrow and steep. We’d recommend bringing small suitcases or weekend bags, as it may be difficult to manoeuvre larger bags on the staircase.
There’s free on-street parking outside this home, subject to availability.
