Your countryside retreat awaits at this old post office in Docking. The house has been thoughtfully restored into a cosy sanctuary with a wood-burning fire in the living room and a well equipped kitchen. There are board games, books and child-friendly amenities. It’s worth noting the stairs leading up to the attic room are steep and narrow, but there’s plenty of charm and character. Beyond here, it’s just a short stroll to the local shop and restaurant. It’s also a fantastic base for exploring the North Norfolk Coast – Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham are both within easy driving distance.
