Charming and cosy, this cottage is in the almost untouched village of Wyck Rissington, one of the Cotswolds’ hidden gems. It’s rich in character and original features, including an inglenook fireplace and wooden beams. Both bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom, making this home as convenient as it is comfortable. The kitchen leads to a terrace and a serene cottage garden, where there’s also a pond. You’ll be just 3 miles from beautiful Bourton-on-the-Water and 4 miles from Stow-on-the-Wold, right in the heart of the Cotswolds.

Home truths
This home has a number of low beams and steep, narrow stairs. The stairs to the second-floor en-suite bathroom are particularly steep. This home may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility, and taller guests will need to take care.
There’s a pond accessed through the gate at the entrance to the wild nature garden. Pets and children should be supervised when outside.
The wi-fi speed is intermittent and the mobile phone signal is limited.
Your host provides logs for the first fire in the wood burner for stays between 1st October and 31st March.
