This colourful loft apartment is a splendid choice of base in Rome. It’s close to the beautiful Villa Doria Pamphili, where you can escape the crowds to explore the park – it’s an excellent spot for a picnic. When you want to see more of the Eternal City, you can hop on one of the many buses and trams nearby. The apartment is spread over two floors, with the bedroom on a mezzanine level above the living space. With one guest on the sofa bed in the living room and the mezzanine semi-open, privacy is limited, but it’s still a comfortable home-from-home.

About Monteverde Nuovo
To the south of its counterpart, Monteverde Vecchio, are the newer high rises that make up Monteverde Nuovo, mostly built in the last 50 years. This is a vision of Rome without the tourists, offering an opportunity to live and shop as the Romans do - the vegetable markets have significantly lower prices than those in the historic Campo de' Fiori. Despite the eponymous hill and the tall buildings don’t expect great views here, as most face away from the city centre, out to portuense and beyond.
