Embrace the quiet life at this idyllic barn conversion in the heart of the New Forest. With wild ponies wandering not far from your doorstep, it’s easy to feel wonderfully off-grid here. But should you crave a change of pace, the charming village of Burley, with its cosy pubs and cafes, is just a mile’s stroll away. Back home, there are all the cottage-core essentials, including a wood-burning stove for winter nights and a fire pit and barbecue out on the private terrace for summer evenings. There’s also some unexpected luxuries – starting with that freestanding bathtub in the main bedroom for a long soak after hikes through the surrounding heathlands.
