Also within walking distance are the Basilica of Santa Croce, Palazzo Pitti and Florence Cathedral. You don’t have to go anywhere to admire some art though, as there are beautiful, frescoed ceilings at this historic home. This place is great for families or friends as there are two living rooms, as well as a mezzanine seating area which sleeps two guests on a sofa bed at full capacity.
