This apartment takes top marks for location. It's situated in vibrant King's Cross, just a short walk from the well-connected train station and the area's bars and restaurants. We think it's an ideal sport for first-time visitors and seasoned travellers alike. But it's not just the location that caught our eye. The decor back home is simple yet stylish. There are two roomy bedrooms, a breezy open-plan living area, and a small balcony – it's a tad overlooked but still a nice enough spot to enjoy the fresh air. All in all, it's a great option for friends and families.

Home truths

Your host operates several apartments here, so the exact view, layout and furnishings might differ slightly from the photos. However, the overall quality should remain the same.

The balcony is overlooked by neighbouring buildings. However, we still think it’s a nice spot for some fresh air.

There isn't a desk here, but the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace.

You won’t need a car in this location, and finding a parking space can be tricky. We suggest leaving the car behind and exploring on foot. King's Cross St. Pancras Station has transport connections throughout London and further afield.

About Kings Cross

Kings Cross might have a historically seedy reputation on account of being a major London transport hub but things have certainly changed. The area has recently undergone major regeneration works, been pumped with some serious investment, and it is now home to some serious players on the restaurant scene (Granger & Co and Caravan to name just two). You can see some world-class contemporary art at Gagosian Gallery's largest London outpost and you're also within easy walking distance of the charming literary area of Bloomsbury on one side and desirable Islington on the other.
