This 19th-century villa in the Ostuni countryside delivers on style, space and practicality. Inside, six elegant en-suite bedrooms are spread across the main house, while a separate garden annexe sleeping two offers a little more privacy. But for us, it’s outside that really clinched the deal here. Private gardens edged with olive and citrus groves, a lengthy infinity pool, and countless sun-soaked terraces invite slow, sociable days. There’s even a rooftop deck, perfectly placed for golden-hour drinks. You’ll need a car to explore, as there’s little within walking distance. But with Ostuni just a short drive away, it’s a fair compromise to make.

Home truths
The home is set over three floors with internal stairs, which may be unsuitable for guests with restricted mobility. However, there are two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms on the ground floor.
The main house has six en-suite bedrooms. There is also a self-contained garden annexe sleeping another two guests.
One of the bedrooms is located on the lower ground floor, so the views aren’t the best.
We recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. On-site parking is available here.

About Ostuni
You’ll probably spot Ostuni long before you reach the so-called White City of Puglia. It rises up on three hills, above the rust-red earth punctuated by olive trees. Shambling, narrow streets lead up the hillside to the crowning 12th-century Ostuni Cathedral. It’s a veritable labyrinth of ancient alleyways, where you can sample traditional Puglian fare like handmade orecchiette and oozing dollops of burrata in terrace restaurants, or taste a Salice...
