Taylor Bay Beach sits right outside the door – powdery white sand and calm, clear water without a drive or a walk to get there. The great room opens fully onto the pool through wall-to-wall retractable sliders, so the line between inside and out effectively disappears. A covered poolside terrace keeps things cool at midday, while the outdoor dining terrace – with a barbecue and seating for ten – earns its keep come evening. There's a tennis court on site, a spa-style outdoor shower, and all four en-suite bedrooms are air-conditioned, making this a house that works as hard as you want it to.
