Inside, floor-to-ceiling glass fills the living spaces with countryside light, and a fireplace keeps things warm once the sun drops. When you're ready to venture out, the unspoiled shores of the Alentejo coastline and the turquoise coves of Arrábida Natural Park – about sixty-three minutes by car – reward the detour.
