If you’re seeking a break that takes you back to nature and away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, it’s time to stop scrolling. Nestled on the edge of the mystical Forest of Dean, this home has serenity running through its bones. We love the cosy interiors, complete with wood burner for winter months. Not to be outdone, the outdoor space bursts with colour, and there are plenty of hidden seating spots scattered around the garden for when you want to relax with your holiday read. Locally, you can take to the forest trails straight from your doorstep, or venture further to Mallard’s Pike, where picnics by the lake, surrounded by nature, are a must.

Originally a medieval hunting ground for Henry VIII, the forest boasts a rich and varied history, sourcing timber for Tudor warships and housing iron and coal mines in Victorian times. Today, the forest is back to its natural state, a lush and peaceful adventure...
