After a day on the mountain, the sauna does the work of untangling tired legs before dinner with snow-covered peaks as the backdrop. Lago di Livigno's turquoise reservoir is about a fifteen-minute drive, and the pristine Val Federia valley – ideal for snowshoeing – is just as close. We think it's a hard-working base for a mountain trip, without any of the usual compromise.

At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
You'll need to book a time slot to use the washing machine and dryer – laundry access is shared and scheduled.
The approach to the chalet involves a short but steep uphill walk – easy enough with light luggage, but worth bearing in mind if you're arriving with skis or heavy bags.
Pets are welcome on request, and your host provides a complimentary pet kit. The fenced garden gives four-legged guests a safe space to roam.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair at no additional cost. You'll need to request them in advance.
