This luxurious home may occupy an envious location in the hills outside Cannes, but you probably won't see much of the city when there are so many incredible experiences to be had at home. It's surrounded by 28 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens, featuring fountains, a tennis and petanque court, and shaded seating. Wander down the romantic, tree-lined avenue to the pool house, or settle on one of the terraces to soak up Riviera views. The interiors are equally elegant, offering several lounges and game rooms where you can entertain guests – and a massage room for when you need some pampering. It wouldn't be a French break without some vin – take your pick of bottles from the cellar. Nearby Mougins is known for attracting artists and actors, and is worth a visit for its galleries and revered restaurants.
