Chic and contemporary, this apartment is an ideal base for a family or group of friends on a Florence getaway. Granted, you’ll need to climb stairs to this third-floor home, but, step through the door and you’ll see the effort was worth it. Though not the biggest, the balcony is a lovely spot to enjoy a morning coffee or evening aperitif with the sun warming your skin. Location-wise, you’re in for a treat. Within walking distance of the Duomo and Piazza della Signoria, passing charming eateries along the way, visiting the city’s sights is a breeze.

Home truths
While not all bathrooms are photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home.
Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
The bedroom curtains here don't fully block out the sunlight. If you're hoping to enjoy a lie-in, you might want to pack an eye mask.
Parking in Florence can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible.

About Santa Croce
Santa Croce is a trendy, architecturally impressive neighbourhood that’s less busy than the Duomo or San Marco districts, but still in the heart of Florence. Home to the eponymous basilica, and the Casa Buonarroti museum, it’s located in the eastern part of Florence’s historic centre. The largest crowds have thinned out by this point, but if you stay here, you're still close enough to explore the whole city on foot....
