This artistic apartment gives a taste of authentic Florence. It’s within walking distance of all the main attractions, just ten minutes from Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi, but it’s in a quiet, private spot between the river and the hills. Piazzale Michelangelo is nearby, but you don’t need to walk there for iconic views of Florence – just head to the private terrace to admire the Duomo. This fantastic outlook does come at a cost, as there are eighty-five stairs. If you can manage the climb, you’ll be rewarded with a charming oasis.

About Santa Croce
Santa Croce is a trendy, architecturally impressive neighbourhood that’s less busy than the Duomo or San Marco districts, but still in the heart of Florence. Home to the eponymous basilica, and the Casa Buonarroti museum, it’s located in the eastern part of Florence’s historic centre. The largest crowds have thinned out by this point, but if you stay here, you're still close enough to explore the whole city on foot....
