An ideal retreat for couples or solo travellers in search of more peaceful accommodation, this one bedroom apartment can be found minutes from Chiswick Park station. The combined living room, kitchen and dining area is well equipped and pleasantly furnished, without feeling cramped. The refreshingly large balcony has plenty of room for seating, and overlooks the Gunnersbury Triangle nature reserve. While the neighbourhood of Chiswick is some distance from London's more celebrated central districts – though the District Line can get you to directly to Soho in half an hour – there's plenty here to enjoy, from cosy cafés and pubs to strolls along the Thames.
