Tucked among centuries-old oak trees and rolling hills in the Le Marche countryside, this villa sits just minutes from the town of Cagli – close enough for a supermarket run or an evening out, far enough to feel removed. The pool terrace is where the days will likely pass, with panoramic views stretching across the hills and an outdoor shower for rinsing off between swims. Come evening, the dedicated alfresco dining area with a barbecue comes into its own, and when the air cools, two fireplaces – one on each floor – give the villa real warmth. A good base for a slow, unhurried week.
