Designed by one of Italy's most celebrated 20th-century architects, this mid-century villa sits in three acres of private woodland above Lake Como, its original 1960s interiors largely intact. The top-floor living and dining space looks out across lake and mountains through eleven windows, while the pool below offers the same panorama in a more languid setting. Come evening, the sunken lounge – with its period bar and fireplace – makes a natural gathering point. Bellagio is a fifteen-minute drive away, but with a bocce court, outdoor copper bath, sauna, and organic garden on-site, you may not be in a hurry to leave.

You're a fifteen-minute drive from Bellagio and the lake, so you'll want a car to make the most of the area.
Two of the king-size beds can be separated into twin configurations – one on the top floor and one on the middle floor. If you'd prefer them set up as twins, let your host know before you arrive.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair. You'll need to request them in advance.
