Tucked into the medieval village of Palazzuolo sul Senio and framed by the Apennine mountains, this villa blends rustic Tuscan charm with modern comfort. Inside, you’ll find exposed brickwork, timber-beamed ceilings, breezy interiors and sleek marble bathrooms. With space for up to 18 guests across the main house and two private apartments, it’s perfect for group getaways, family celebrations or intimate weddings. Outside, there's a tiered garden with a pool, hot tub and a feasting table for long, lazy lunches. And when you’re ready to explore, hiking trails, mountain biking routes and day trips to Florence await.

Home truths

While the kitchen isn’t photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.

The villa is accessed via a flight of 10 stairs from the main street, with most of the bedrooms located up another flight on the first floor. It may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.

In addition to five bedrooms in the main house, there are two separate apartments, each with a double bed, en-suite bathroom, and a private living area.

At full occupancy, four guests will need to sleep on sofa beds located in bedrooms four and five, alongside the main beds. This setup is ideal for families but may not suit all adults.

While there’s a fenced garden, the pool area itself is not enclosed, so little ones will need to be supervised at all times.

Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There's free on-street parking.

However, it’s fair to say that this isn’t a fair representation of the area. Throughout most of the green valley, it’s not the cacophony of snarling engines that you’ll be hearing, but rather the tranquillity of nature. Sitting just underneath...
