Heaps of space, high ceilings and flooded with natural light – this Edinburgh pad is a delight to come home to. In truth, we don't think the current photographs do this Victorian-era property justice (we’re working on that). But if you can look past this, you’ll find a practical apartment perfectly suited to a working or family stay. Each double bedroom has a good-sized desk, and the dining kitchen has everything you need for family mealtimes. Set along a leafy residential street, this is the University of Edinburgh’s neck of the woods. You can walk to all the must-sees from here, including The Meadows, Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, Princes Street, and the list goes on.
