Looking for a Florence bolthole that's as unique as it is central? This Santa Croce district apartment, set in a fresco-adorned palazzo and within walking distance of all the must-see sights, is spot-on. With ceilings soaring nearly six metres high in the open-plan living and bedroom space, and a mezzanine level providing access to an additional single bedroom and bathroom, the layout is a tad quirky. But we think this only adds to the charm. It’s worth noting that the kitchen is on the small side and better suited to lighter meals and breakfast. But with so many traditional Florentine restaurants just around the corner in the Santa Croce Piazza, we suspect you’ll be eating out alot.

About Santa Croce

Santa Croce is a trendy, architecturally impressive neighbourhood that’s less busy than the Duomo or San Marco districts, but still in the heart of Florence. Home to the eponymous basilica, and the Casa Buonarroti museum, it’s located in the eastern part of Florence’s historic centre. The largest crowds have thinned out by this point, but if you stay here, you're still close enough to explore the whole city on foot....

Host

This home is managed by Gaetano

This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Gaetano and his team have a handful of places in Italy that they’re responsible for, and we’re big fans. It’s worth noting that it might not be Gaetano himself who checks you in, but the rest of the team are all really nice as well.
