Tucked just moments from the historic streets of Le Marais, this smart studio sits in one of Paris’s most coveted neighbourhoods. Many of the city’s headline sights are within easy walking distance from here. While the Rambuteau Metro is just six minutes away, if your feet need a break. Set inside a period building, the apartment looks out onto a peaceful inner courtyard – perfect for banking a good night’s kip. And while there's no oven to speak of in the compact kitchenette, with buzzy bistros and fine dining lining the surrounding streets, we suspect you’ll be eating out more often than not.

Home truths
The apartment is located on the third floor without lift access, so be prepared to climb some stairs. Compared to the studio’s interiors, some areas of the communal hallways feel tired in places.
You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob and microwave. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
If you're travelling for work, you won't find a dedicated desk here. However, the bistro table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace.
