Home truths
The apartment is on the second floor of a historic building with no elevator. There are fifteen steps to the front door, and eight more inside before reaching the main living area, so it may not be suitable for guests with mobility concerns.
Although part of the apartment overlooks a quiet internal courtyard, the central location means you may still hear the lively sounds of Florence, especially during peak tourist seasons.
If you’re driving, be aware that this home sits within Florence’s limited traffic zone. You'll need to park in a nearby garage (the closest is 50m away) and walk to the apartment.
This is a lovingly restored historic apartment with original features like wooden beams and terracotta floors that boast true Italian charm, but don’t expect the quirks of modern hotels.
The living and dining spaces are open and interconnected, which adds warmth and flow, but may offer less privacy for larger groups.

The largest crowds have thinned out by this point, but if you stay here, you're still close enough to explore the whole city on foot....
