This 19th-century Cotswold cottage is perfect for an idyllic escape to the country. With a private garden full of hidden nooks outside, and a cosy log-burner inside, you’re set for any season here. We love the period features at this home, although the low ceilings may not suit taller guests. Location-wise, you’re in the village of Deddington, where you can browse the antique shops, stock up on goodies at the bakery, and enjoy a pint in one of the local pubs after walking the dog. And if day trips are on the cards, Blenheim Palace – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – is a fifteen-minute drive away.
