Tucked away on a side street bordering the grand Avenue des Champs-Élysées, this home is in the heart of Paris' luxury shopping neighbourhood. The French doors facing the street let in plenty of light, and the pastel hues throughout the apartment create a cosy atmosphere. The kitchen might not be massive, but there are enough facilities for making quick breakfasts or lunches (and that all-important coffee in the morning). And while there may not be loads of space for your Dior and Louis Vuitton purchases in the bedrooms, they're certainly not cramped. Regardless, the location is unbeatable – just a short walk to the Arc de Triomphe and close to the metro.

Home truths
Your host operates several apartments here, so the exact view, layout and furnishings might differ slightly from the photos. However, the overall quality should remain the same.
This home is on the first floor of a residential building, so you may hear some noise from neighbours and the street during your stay. Access is via a lift.
Some guests have noted that the air conditioning units can be quite loud – so we recommend some earplugs if you're a light sleeper.
As is common in France, the toilet is separate from the bathroom.
While there is a small kitchenette here, there's limited counter space, so we think it's more suitable for preparing light bites.
If you're bringing little ones, do supervise them in the living room as there may be low-level wooden beams. If you require a cot, you can request one from your host for free.

The Champs Elysees is one of the most famous streets in the world, so be prepared to come up against a fair few tourists, though you can sidestep the hordes pretty easily by exploring the side streets just off the main drag. For most, it's a mandatory stop, if only to catch a glimpse of the monumental Arc de Triomphe which crowns the avenue and which was commissioned by Napoléon...
