You can't do much better than Kensington for a central London stay. Here, fashionable boutiques and chic eateries abound. If sightseeing is on the agenda, you'll find world-class museums, Kensington Palace, and Hyde Park all within easy reach. This top-floor apartment is in the heart of this upscale neighbourhood, tucked inside a classic red-brick building. The roof terrace and its views are the star of the show – we can't think of a better setting for summer evenings. Even with two guests sleeping on a sofa bed, we find this to be a comfortable, convenient option.

Home truths

At full capacity, two guests will sleep on a sofa bed in the second bedroom. We think it's best suited to children or adults on a short visit.

Although there's a lift in the building, stairs are required to reach the roof terrace. These are open-tread, which may not be suitable for little ones.

We think the living space may feel a bit cramped for all four guests, as the only place to sit is the sofa.

Upon arrival, you may need to collect the keys from a different address – please get in touch for more information.

You’ll be asked to complete a pre-check-in form prior to arrival, as well as provide proof of ID for every guest.

About Kensington

Affluent and incredibly central, Kensington is a great base for exploring London on foot. Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park are on your doorstep and so are the Victoria and Albert, Science, and Natural History Museums. The streets are attractive and well maintained (grand, white stucco facades aplenty) and your neighbours will be a wealthy, conservative set. Lots of positives but probably not the place to let your hair down.
