Comfortable and convenient, this apartment is a great base for two in Milan. Excellent transport links give you easy access to the city’s attractions – you can reach the Duomo in less than fifteen minutes. You can also walk to Castello Sforzesco, shops, and restaurants. We love the pretty wallpaper, with its exotic plants, and the peaceful green colour scheme – you can relax here in between sightseeing. The kitchenette is petite, probably better suited to preparing light bites rather than full meals – luckily, you’ll have all of Milan’s restaurants to choose from.

Home truths

Parking in Milan can be tricky, so we recommend getting around using the easily accessible public transport system. There’s a tram stop just down the road.

We think the kitchenette is better suited to preparing light bites and snacks rather than full meals.

About Washington

At the heart of Washington is, perhaps unsurprisingly, Via George Washington. This grand avenue was a marvel when it was built in the nineteenth century, but these days it feels a bit more run-of-the-mill. Recently, however, there has been a big push to increase green spaces in the area, and now there are trees, patches of grass and flowerbeds all across the neighbourhood. It’s largely residential – there’s less to actually do than there is in places like Brera – but as a result, there are also fewer tourists, so it’ll just be you and the Milanesi.
