Home truths

The building doesn’t have an elevator, and the apartment is located on the second floor with mezzanine levels inside – pack light and be prepared for a few stairs.

The second bedroom is on the mezzanine level and semi-open to the space below, so privacy is limited.

The restored medieval frescoes are beautiful, making this home feel more like a historic residence. The traditional decor here might not be to everyone's taste.

Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.

If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot. You'll need to request them in advance.

One of the bedrooms has two single beds, that can be joined together for flexible sleeping arrangements.

If you plan to arrive after 6pm, your hosts ask you to send an ID for each guest in advance, for a speedier check-in.
