Perched slope-side in the Mont Blanc region, this alpine villa is built for the mountains in every sense – ski storage and piste access right at the door, with Saint-Gervais village a six-minute drive away and Megève fifteen minutes beyond that. Inside, panoramic windows frame the peaks from the living room, where a log fire pulls you in after a day on the snow. The cedar hot tub and indoor sauna and hammam do the rest of the work. Come evening, the private home cinema – with its immersive sound system – makes a compelling case for staying put.

A car is recommended here – Saint-Gervais village is a six-minute drive and Megève is fifteen minutes away, so you'll want your own wheels for restaurants, shops, and exploring the wider area.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot. You'll need to request it in advance.
There is no lift in the chalet, so you'll be using the stairs between all three levels throughout your visit – worth bearing in mind if anyone in your group has mobility considerations.
