Mont Blanc fills the floor-to-ceiling windows of this timber chalet in Les Houches, framing the Aiguille du Midi for the perfect morning coffee backdrop. The living room, set around a log fireplace, makes it easy to lose an entire evening to the mountains outside, and the wrap-around terrace delivers the same views under open sky. You'll need a car to make the most of your stay here. The ski lifts are a five-minute drive away, and central Chamonix is around ten minutes – there's no realistic way to reach either on foot. Parking is provided.
If you're travelling with a baby or toddler, your host can provide a cot and high chair – you'll need to request these in advance.
There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home.
