Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Whether you’re visiting Madrid for work or play, you’ll love this home’s location. Plaza Major (the main square) is a short walk away and so is Atocha station, offering easy train travel in and out of town. The apartment itself is compact and functional – not the cosiest place, yet comfortable for a short stay or sightseeing trip. It’s on the ground floor with direct access from the street, so it might be a little noisy at times. But if you love the hustle and bustle of the city, this practical pad puts you right in the heart of things.

Home truths
The front door of this ground floor apartment opens directly into the living room, so expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
While we love the overall design of this home, it is lacking in natural light.
This home is short on wardrobe space, so we'd recommend packing light.
Parking in Madrid can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible. If you're travelling by train, the city's main station, Atocha, is a ten-minute walk away.

About Atocha
When thinking of Atocha, the mammoth train station immediately comes to mind. While it’s a transport hub connecting Madrid to all others parts of Spain, its appeal lies in more than just logistics. The station itself is full of restaurants (some are the best in the area), and the sprawling streets around it will slowly lead to some of the best museums in town. Staying here will place you within walking distance of Prado, The Reina Sofia Museum, and Retiro Park.
