If you're looking to sample the Eternal City without succumbing to the crowds, this peaceful retreat in the northern Cassia neighbourhood makes for an excellent base. While it may take longer to reach the Trevi Fountain or Colosseum, the apartment offers an eye-catching right-angled terrace where you can unwind, socialise, catch some sun, and even play a few games of table football. Inside, the living room, dining area and kitchen are all in order, while though any third or fourth guests will stay on a sofa bed, the space can turn smoothly into a private second bedroom. If you are eager to see the famous sights of Rome, a cab can take you to the Vatican in around twenty minutes, or the Forum in twenty five.
