A private pool and garden with sunset views over Rome’s rooftops – this tower knows how to impress. The living space and two uniquely designed bedrooms unfold across multiple levels, linked by a modern spiral staircase or an internal lift. Head up to the rooftop terrace or out to the patio for evening drinks and alfresco feasts – rustled up in the kitchenette, or better yet, by a private chef. And the location? Spot on – Vatican City is a scenic thirty-minute stroll away, or let a chauffeur whisk you through the Eternal City’s star attractions.

About Valle Aurelia

Valle Aurelia is directly behind the Vatican, but you’d never guess from the number of tourists. Perhaps the nickname, Valle dell’Inferno (Valley of Hell) is enough to put them off. Rest assured though, it’s not a comment on the place, rather a reference to the presence of enormous furnaces in the area, which were in use up until the 1920s. It was the heart of metalworking, clay firing and brickmaking in Rome for centuries, and this instilled a vibrant working-class character to the neighbourhood, which endures today.
