Unwind amidst the stunning surroundings of Tuscany's Val d'Orcia at this expansive home. Spread across a large estate with a main villa, guesthouse, and an independent apartment, there are plenty of spots from which to admire the views – the saltwater pool offering perhaps the best vantage point. There's abundant produce in the orchards and kitchen garden to create your favourite Tuscan dishes, which you can cook in the large Italian kitchen or outside on the barbecue. It would be too easy to spend all day on the terrace, taking in the hilltop views, but there's also a gym and sauna, and it's just a short walk or cycle into the nearby town.

Home truths
This home is comprised of four bedrooms in the main villa, three bedrooms in an independent guesthouse, and an additional one bedroom in a self-contained apartment with a kitchenette and living area. Access to the twin bedroom in the guesthouse is via a spiral staircase, which may not be suitable for young children.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot for free on request. Please note that the saltwater pool isn't fenced, so children will need to be supervised at all times.
This home includes a housekeeper, who provides services for three hours each morning from Monday to Friday.
Guests have access to a small gym with Technogym equipment, an Auki sauna, and a mat area. This is in an annexe next door to the self-contained apartment.
There are steps throughout this home and the garden, so it may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
