This apartment in Kensington – one of London's most prestigious postcodes – ticks a ton of boxes. It's located on the first floor of a traditional Georgian building and features homey interiors. The living room sofa bed means it would suit those travelling in numbers, but the big highlight here is its location. It's just a two-minute walk from High Street Kensington. And, you'll find the Royal Albert Hall, the Natural History Museum, and Kensington Palace & Gardens just a short distance away. All in all, this is a solid choice for those seeking home comforts in the heart of London.

Local guide

About Kensington

Affluent and incredibly central, Kensington is a great base for exploring London on foot. Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park are on your doorstep and so are the Victoria and Albert, Science, and Natural History Museums. The streets are attractive and well maintained (grand, white stucco facades aplenty) and your neighbours will be a wealthy, conservative set. Lots of positives but probably not the place to let your hair down.
