Tucked away in the countryside and surrounded by a moat, this restored 18th-century château offers complete privacy. Saying that, it's still just a five-minute drive from Villeréal’s restaurants, boulangeries and weekly market. The pool is heated and fenced with a pool house for shade, while the courtyard is perfect for gathering for meals under the trees. There’s lots to keep both kids and adults happy, with a games room, a fully-equipped gym, a football area and plenty of different living rooms to spread out in. Plus, if you’re coming with a bigger group, there’s a separate coach house apartment.

If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide two cots and two high chairs for free.
As well as the main home, there is a one-bedroom apartment in the old coach house. It has its own living area with a sofa bed, an ensuite and a fridge with a coffee machine.
Two of the bedrooms can be set up as twins or doubles, and each connects to another double room – ideal for families.
The pool is fully fenced. It's accessed through the pool house, which has a shower room and a lounge area with a fridge.
The gym includes a Peloton bike, a rowing machine, a bench and squat rack, dumbbells, a gym trampoline, an aerobic step, gym balls, mats and mirrored walls for dance practice.
A weekly change of bed linen and towels is included.
While not all bedrooms and bathrooms are photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
