Set within one and a half hectares of garden in Marrakesh's leafy Palmeraie, this villa is built around a life of quiet indulgence. The centrepiece is a 300m² heated pool – citrus trees shading its central island, a poolside bar nearby – but the grounds feel generous enough that you'll never feel hemmed in. An on-site hammam and massage room mean proper restoration is always close at hand, and daily breakfast and housekeeping take care of the rest. When the Medina calls, the souks and spice markets are a twenty-four-minute drive away.

Home truths

  • Air conditioning is only available in the bedrooms – the living areas, dining room, and hammam rely on natural ventilation and ceiling fans, so bear that in mind if you're visiting during the hotter months.

  • The villa is a short drive from central Marrakech, so you'll want to plan ahead for trips into the Medina – your host's concierge team can help arrange transfers and day trips.

  • If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair at no additional cost. You'll need to request them in advance.

  • Guests have access to all areas of the home, apart from the kitchen, which is reserved for staff use only. Kitchen use for light refreshments, such as tea, coffee or sandwiches, may be available with prior approval from your host.

  • For those with reduced mobility, there's a ground floor bedroom and bathroom here.

Host

This home is managed by Oliver

This home is managed by a business on behalf of its owner. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Nearly twenty years ago, Oliver and his friend began curating the world's most unique and rustic getaways. Driven by their own unforgettable experience at a chateau, they have grown remarkably since then. Much like Plum, they believe in hand-picked luxury that doesn't break the bank.

This home is nominated for the Plum Guide Award.
