Set on a hilltop in the small village of Lucolena, this home offers postcard-perfect views of Chianti's rolling hills. It's easy to while away the sunny days in the gardens, where lush greenery surrounds the natural stone swimming pool. The terrace offers a brick barbecue, perfect for alfresco meals – though the lack of seating around the table is a downside. But the rustic interiors hide a few surprises, such as the immense fireplace and a cosy lower-ground bedroom tucked into the home's arched cellar. Speaking of, this home is a short drive away from Greve in Chianti, where there are more than a few wine cellars to peruse.

While this home can sleep ten guests, not everyone can be seated around the dining tables.
Upon arrival, you'll need to check in at a nearby hotel, which is a fifteen-minute drive away. You'll then be accompanied to the home.
While not all the bathrooms have been photographed, we expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a high chair for free on request.
The swimming pool is only available for use between May and October. It's also unfenced, so children should be supervised at all times.
The traditional decor here might not be to everyone's taste. It feels a little dated in parts.
The single bed in bedroom two is quite small. We'd recommend it for children only.
