With its exposed brick and limestone walls, crisscrossing wooden beams and modern furniture, this apartment melds the classic and contemporary superbly. Though the bedroom is inviting, it’s on the basement floor and lacks a window – but the ground floor living area is cosy enough to make up for it. The location is where this home really shines – walk outside and you’ll be in the middle of one of Paris’ most famous covered passageways, with shopping opportunities and restaurants all within easy reach. Walk just a bit further and you’ll soon get to the Louvre – it’s all so easy.

You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
While the home is located on the ground floor, the bedroom is on the basement floor and is accessed via a flight of stone stairs. It may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility.
