This classic dammuso, or Sicilian peasant house, is the ideal place to stay during your visit to Pantelleria. Located near the village of Rekhale with good access to its shops and bars, most of this home's social areas are found outside – instead of a living room, there's an alfresco dining area and an expansive stone terrace offering panoramic island views. Inside, the bedrooms are slightly unorthodox, and maybe lack privacy – one is tucked in an alcove behind a curtain, while the other is effectively out in the open. Full of authentic character, it's ideal for those craving a unique stay.
