With expansive gardens and rustic views, this villa is made for outdoor living. Take a dip in the pool, dine on the patio in the shade of the trees, and gather everyone under the gazebo for a glass or two of something local – after all, nearby Cisternino is at the heart of the Salento wine region. All this outdoor space more than makes up for the lacklustre interiors, though the exposed stone and arched roofs at least add a bit of character. When you're not touring the vineyards, drive to Ostuni to explore the historic cobbled streets and try some traditional Apulian cuisine.
