Surf lovers, rejoice. Not only does this home offer a front-row seat to the azure waters of Guitgia Beach, you’ll also benefit from extreme proximity – it’s only 20 metres away. Located on Lampedusa, Italy’s southernmost island, this home is all about that view. Sit around the table on the terrace – shared with the neighbouring property – and watch the sun set below the water with a drink in hand, or walk two minutes to sunbathe on the sandy shore below. The kitchen is on the smaller side, so we’d recommend dining out at nearby Lampedusa Town, where you’ll find plenty of local cuisine to sink your teeth into.

The terrace here is shared with a neighbouring property.
You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
While two of the bedrooms aren't photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
For those with reduced mobility, there's a ground floor bedroom and bathroom here.
The traditional decor here might not be to everyone's taste. It feels a little dated in parts.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot for free. You'll need to request it in advance.
